The Green Party is a political party in United States. It is the fourth largest party in US when we consider the number of its members. The basic platform of the party is multidimensional. On one hand it promotes saving the environment while on the other hand it promotes social justice and participation as well. Lately the members of the Green Party have as well supported the LGBT rights and movements against racism and gender biases ("www.gp.org", 2018). The party was founded in the year 2001 and over the years it has seen the enrollment of several celebrities of US. It is a left wing party and it was initially known as the Association of State Green Parties.
